Without a proper vacation plan, you can easily exceed your budget. Trust me. Even the smallest of things can add up to a large vacation or travel bill!
All those hotel extra’s, cab-fares, tips, restaurants, car rentals, gas for your own vehicle if you are on a road trip, tickets for special attractions or events, beach-and-pool-side drinks and more. All these simply adds on and piles up. Before you know it, you've blown your budget sky high. Pockets end up in flames. People with loose wallets end up with loose wallets, literally. It happens all too often.
This brings us to the reason behind budgeting for travel and planning well. And of course, it also helps to ensure that your trip is successful, enjoyable and memorable.
